OUR STORY
Autumn’s Inspiration began not as a business, but as a story of love, healing, and connection. Our journey with Ragdolls started in the early 2000s, during a time when our family was searching for calm and comfort at home. Our son had been diagnosed with autism and struggled with sensory challenges. The world could sometimes feel overwhelming for him, loud, unpredictable, and hard to navigate.​
Then we met our first Ragdoll!
Their soft fur, quiet purrs, and gentle nature seemed to melt the tension away. The way they connected with him, patiently, quietly, and without judgment, was something extraordinary. It wasn’t just a pet-and-owner relationship; it was a bond of understanding. Watching that peaceful connection unfold showed us just how powerful these cats could be.​That experience became the heart of Autumn’s Inspiration. We wanted to share that same sense of peace and companionship with other families.
What started as a love for one cat grew into a passion for raising kittens with the same calm, affectionate spirit that touched our lives.​Over the years, we’ve devoted ourselves to raising Ragdolls the right way, with care, compassion, and purpose. Our kittens are never kept in cages. They grow up underfoot in our home, surrounded by love, laughter, and the daily rhythms of family life. This hands-on approach shapes kittens that are not only beautiful but also deeply social, affectionate, and ready to form lifelong bonds.​

WHAT MAKES OUR KITTENS DIFFERENT FROM THE REST?
At Autumn’s Inspiration, every kitten is raised in the heart of our home, not in cages or separate rooms, but right alongside our family. From the moment they’re born, our kittens are surrounded by love, attention, and gentle socialization that helps them grow into affectionate, confident companions.​We believe that a well-adjusted kitten starts with the right foundation. Our babies are handled daily, introduced to normal household sounds, and raised underfoot to ensure they’re calm, trusting, and ready to bond deeply with their new families.​ Health is another key difference. All of our breeding cats are DNA tested for HCM and PKD, and screened for FIV/FeLV, so every kitten begins life with the best possible start. Kittens receive age-appropriate vaccines, regular deworming, and a comprehensive veterinary check before going home.​ Because we’re a small, home-based cattery, we focus on quality over quantity. Each kitten receives individual care, socialization, and love. Our families also receive ongoing support and we’re always here for questions, updates, or just to celebrate milestones together. ​
